Alerts and Monitoring

How to set up Alerts

In your dashboard, open Alerts, pick a technology (and optional filters), and choose how you want to be notified.

How to set up Alerts

Short answer

Open Alerts in your dashboard, choose what you want to monitor, select a frequency, and save the Alert. TechLeads.fyi will notify you by email and inside your dashboard when matching changes are found.

Step 1: Choose what you want to monitor

Start with one clear signal.

For example:

  • New websites using Shopify

  • New websites using WooCommerce

  • Websites adding Klaviyo

  • A group of domains changing technologies

  • Business websites matching a specific technology

The more specific your Alert is, the easier it is to act on the results.

Step 2: Add filters if needed

Depending on the Alert type, you may be able to narrow results using filters such as:

  • Technology

  • Country

  • Keyword

  • TLD

  • Business website signals

Use filters when you want fewer but more relevant results.

Step 3: Choose frequency

You can choose:

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

Daily is useful for sales teams and fast-moving campaigns. Weekly is usually best for founders and small teams. Monthly is better for research or light monitoring.

Step 4: Choose notifications

Alerts are sent through:

  • Email

  • Dashboard notifications

Use email if you want to react quickly. Use dashboard notifications if you prefer reviewing all matches in one place.

Step 5: Review and improve

After your Alert runs a few times, check the quality.

Ask:

  • Are the matches relevant?

  • Are there too many results?

  • Are there too few results?

  • Should I add or remove filters?

  • Is the frequency right?

If the Alert is too noisy, make it narrower. If it is too quiet, remove some filters.

Plan limits

Alert limits depend on your plan:

  • Free: 50 monitored items

  • Founder/Growth: 1,000 monitored items

  • Business: 100,000 monitored items

Best practice

Create Alerts around your best sales angles, not around every interesting technology.

For example, “Shopify + Klaviyo” may be more useful than just “ecommerce”.
