Technographics API overview

The TechLeads API detects the technologies a website uses (CMS, ecommerce platform, analytics, payments, frameworks and more) and returns them as JSON, so you can enrich accounts, qualify leads or power your own product. The same data is available to AI agents through an MCP server.

Endpoints

  • GET https://techleads.fyi/api/v3/web/lookup?url=example.com: technologies detected on one website (1 credit).
  • POST https://techleads.fyi/api/v3/web/lookup/batch: up to 1,000 websites per request (1 credit each).
  • GET https://techleads.fyi/api/v3/account/info: your account and remaining credits (free).

Authentication

Send your API key as Authorization: Bearer <key> or x-api-key: <key>. Keys are created in the dashboard; see pricing for the plans that include API access and credits.

MCP server and CLI

Connect Claude, Cursor or another MCP client to https://api.techleads.fyi/mcp with the same API key. From a terminal, install the CLI with npm i -g @techleads.fyi/api and run tlf -d example.com.
